Arrive at this gorgeous property down a long private driveway lined with oak trees.

There is plenty of parking space and enter the house with a self-entry digital keypad.

The Spanish-style decor will make you feel like you are in the paradise of Costa Rica. A luxurious private retreat with a spacious backyard, lush lawn, salt water pool with spa, and ample games (ping pong, corn hole) and pool equipment (floats, chairs, pool towels, mexican blankets) that you never want to leave.

The real wood burning fire place creates a warm and comfortable gathering spot while you look out the expansive windows onto the backyard.

All three bedrooms are spacious and come with high-end mattresses and bedding.

The floor plan is open and spread out so that each guest will feel like they have plenty of privacy.

Four TVs with Netflix are spread around the house along with SONOS speakers for listening to music.

Ample books, puzzles and board games to enjoy with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy.

This home comfortably sleeps eight, but if you need more room, we have a second listing for this home PLUS the adjoining 1-bedroom, 1-bath casita that sleeps up to four more. Rest assured, the casita will not be occupied during your stay if you do not rent it. The listing is titled "casapuravida-full-house-pool-spa"

While this home is one level, its important to note that the home has a sunken living room with two steps down to the living room area from the main entryway and two steps back up to the kitchen and the rest of the home. There is one or two steps down to exit the home to the backyard from all rear doors. Doors are normal width, and most will not accommodate a wheelchair. There are no stairs from the front door to the primary bedroom/en suite bathroom, and guest bedroom #1 and bathroom.

The house is centrally located, 2 miles to Atascadero, 6 miles to Templeton, 12 miles to Paso Robles or Santa Margarita.

Atascadero has a Vons, movie theater, and many restaurants, shops and bars along Entrada and Traffic Way.

Templeton has a Trader Joe's, J & R Meats which offers local grass fed beefs and other meats. In the same shopping center is Pier 46, the area's top fish market and restaurant.

There are organic stores and markets in Atascadero, Templeton and Santa Margarita.

There are wineries in every direction. On the way to Templeton, along Templeton Road you have Bella Luna Estate Winery, Clesi Wines, and Seven Angels. In downtown Atascadero, there are several wine bars, tasting rooms, distilleries, Cider and Breweries. There is more to do than there is time.

La Casa Pura Vida is located just off Hwy 41, in between Templeton and Atascadero. The location is perfect for exploring the Central Coast. Our 14 acre working ranch neighbors vineyards, horse ranches and rural residential homes. Located 2.5 miles from Atascadero, 6 miles from Templeton, 12 miles to Paso Robles to the North or Santa Margarita to the South. It is midpoint between Los Angeles and San Francisco, 3.5 hour drive from each.

It is best to have your own car in order to get the most out of your stay, however Uber and Lyft will service our location and there are several limousine companies for any of your transportation needs.

We are happy to help with any concierge requests and if you need any help with restaurant/winery recommendations. There is a lot to see and do on the Central Coast and its challenging as you'll want to spend all your time relaxing at the house once you get here. It's a good life!

This is the owner’s retirement home and they do their very best to keep the home and property in top condition for their guests. Pool service occurs on Tuesday and Friday mornings and the Gardening Service happens Monday morning. They will be on property but not come inside the home. These can not be called off or rescheduled. They are very respectful of our guests while doing their important job.

There are four security cameras outside the home, for your protection and that of the property. There is a camera on the entry gate, casting to the gate. There is a camera on the barn, casting down on the driveway. There is a camera mounted across from the front of the home, casting on the driveway and front door. There is a camera on the back side of the casita, casting out on the backyard. Tampering with the camera system in any way is grounds for immediate eviction without a refund.

They are also respectful of the neighborhood. There is a strict noise ordinance on this 14-acre property and there is zero tolerance for large gatherings, parties, extra guests or pets. This is out of respect for the neighbors and keeping the house is top condition for future guests. If you are looking for a house to have large gatherings or parties, please choose another home in the Central Coast area.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any substance allowed in the house or on the property. No underage drinking. No guests allowed on the property that are not on the guest list. No parties or events are allowed. No pets

Casa Pura Vida is one of the most luxurious and tranquil places we've ever stayed in the greater Paso Robles area. It's location cannot be beat - super close to the East Side wineries, just down the road from downtown Atascadero, less than 15 minutes from downtown Paso and the West Side wineries. Monica and Stephanie made checking in a breeze and ensured we had plenty of time to get the house set up for our guests. We were amazed at all the room - you could easily sleep 12 in the house. And though the weather made it too cold to use the pool and hot tub or to dine outside, there was plenty of room inside for our breakfasts and dinners, and lots of comfortable seating for late nights with glasses of wine (plenty of glassware as well!). We would highly recommend Casa Pura Vida to any large groups traveling to Paso for wine tours or weddings or the like, and we can't wait to come back soon!

We stayed at Stephanie’s house to celebrate my brother's birthday. The property is well maintained and stocked with all essentials. The layout of the rooms makes it easy to accommodate a large group where everyone gets enough privacy. The backyard offers a ton for activities, including a very large pool and a nice spa. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning in the future.

We celebrated a birthday with a large group and this house was amazing! Everything we needed was there. The decorations and the layout was beautiful. So much space. Stephanie was very responsive to anything we needed, she was a great host. Check in was super easy. We had a great time. She even had a great recommendation for a private chef who came to the house and cooked for us. The chef was really nice and we had one of the best meals ever. Can’t wait to come and stay again.

Beautiful property, serene and peaceful locale with gorgeous views of the valley. Pool is pretty huge, but we didn’t use it since it was pretty cold and rainy weather. The hot tub is huge and will comfortably fit 8-10 adults.
The separate studio is charming and was great for the kids to hang out and play games/watch TV.
This is a gem!

We had an amazing time at Stephanie’s place. Very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of room for two families (11 people) with the Casita. Two mature families met for a long weekend stay at Stephanie's house. The house is beautiful and elegant and cozy/comfortable at the same time. We used both the pool and the fireplace and enjoyed both very much. The house is very spacious for a large group and it was wonderful to have a table where we could all eat meals together. There were lots of special touches that made our stay feel luxurious. It was great to have a supermarket 5 minutes away. We would love to visit again!

This was the best Airbnb experience we have had. Stephanie had exceptional and timely communication. The house was incredibly well supplied. It is beautifully laid out and incredibly spacious. The location of the home is perfect. Close enough for essentials (Vons, etc) but private enough that you feel you are off the beaten path as you are surrounded by the farm. The home exceeded our expectations and we would go back in a heartbeat.

This is an amazing place to stay for a relaxing getaway. The property is beautiful and private, and the home is extremely comfortable (shoutout to such plush beds). The amenities make for such a fun stay, including many outdoor games, ping pong, pool floaties, a huge movie and music collection and so much more. The location of the house is perfect- being close to Paso which is filled with amazing food and wine, as well as a short drive from cayucos/ the coastal towns of the central coast. On top of that the hosts are so accommodating and communicative, and really strive to make your stay perfect! I couldn't recommend this more!
