Welcome to The Crum Road Compound in beautiful downtown Templeton, an rare opportunity nestled in the heart of charming Templeton, which is just five miles south of Paso Robles on Hwy 101. Perfect for large groups, family reunions, or wedding guests, this property combines casual country living with ample space to relax and connect. This unique offering (we only open this property a few days per year) includes three homes on one property — the classic older Main House (which is our family home and only rented when we are out of town) and the two private newer guest cottages, "Tiny in Templeton" and "Cozy Blue Cottage" (both full time vacation rentals with 100's of 5-star reviews) — providing both shared spaces and opportunities for separate retreats. Just steps from Main Street restaurants, shops and tasting rooms, your stay here immerses you in the best of wine country living. We only open this property for very limited dates.
This property allows large groups to spread out and collectively gather comfortably, with enough privacy for all your people. This property is pet friendly, has a hot tub, an outdoor entertainment center and is walkable to the weekly Farmers market in the town park. Our Main House is an older family farmhouse, one of the originals in the neighborhood, while the cottages are more modern. We strive to provide comfortable, clean and affordable accommodations for groups that will take care of our property and enjoy the Central Coast. Our homes are not fancy nor new. If this feels like a good fit, we welcome your group.

🏡 The Living Space
Sleep: With a total of 5 bedrooms, 6 beds and 4 bathrooms across both homes, the Compound can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Sleep well with plenty of beds and private ensuite bathrooms in three of the five bedrooms. NOTE: The Main House does not have central air conditioning but does stay cool with ceiling fans, solid construction and excellent insulation. Both cottages have mini-spilt style air conditioning for those that prefer it colder.
Gather & Relax: The Compound features open-concept living and dining areas with cathedral ceilings, cozy fireplaces, games, books, and Smart TVs, ideal for group meals and quality time together.
Equipped Kitchens: Both the Main House and the guest cottages offer fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances and ample space for cooking together or preparing wine-country feasts.
Outdoor Living: Step outside to our relaxing and private patio, with comfortable lounge seating, big screen TV, propane flat grill, outdoor dining, and laundry machines for your use. Or chill in the front courtyard, outside the cottages, set against an expansive and charming village view (we live across the street from the towns only elementary school, say hello to Ms Vicki, our corner's crossing guard, when you see her!) so much room to spread out and connect.

Rental Contract: A signed rental agreement must be completed within 48 hours of booking confirmation.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $750 authorization is required 2 days before arrival.
Quiet Hours: This is a peaceful small town urban setting — please observe evening quiet hours.
Pets: Up to two dogs (only) are permitted at this property with payment of the pet fee and agreement to the pet policy
Cancellation Fee: We understand that plans can change. TVR is committed to offering a flexible cancellation policy whenever possible; however, all cancellations will incur a $75 cancellation processing fee. We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance to help protect their vacation investment in the event of unexpected changes.
